Under the theme “Koka aru Naati” (Grandparent and Grandchild), this innovative initiative by Prerona Pratibandhi NGO aims to create a nurturing environment where elderly citizens and children can form meaningful bonds. The project will be located on 5 bighas of land in Jokai, Dibrugarh, generously supported by BCPL CSR Fund.
The Prerona Senior Citizen Home will provide:
Comprehensive care for senior citizens, including medical assistance, emotional support, and a comfortable living environment.
A unique intergenerational experience, where the wisdom and affection of the elderly will enrich the lives of children from Prerona Children Home.
Close proximity to Jokai Model Hospital, ensuring convenient access to healthcare facilities in case of emergencies.
This project underscores the NGO’s commitment to holistic well-being, blending care for the elderly and children under one roof to foster love, empathy, and learning.
Prerona Pratibandhi NGO remains dedicated to empowering the underprivileged and differently-abled. With your generous support, we can make this vision a reality and continue building a brighter, more inclusive future for those in need.
This center will help specially abled people by giving them training, support, and care. It will be a place where they can learn skills, become independent, and live with dignity.
We are thankful to Late Soylan Saikia (Father) and Late Junak Saikia (Mother) for their kind and generous gift. Their house and land have been donated to Prerona Pratibandhi NGO to help people with special needs. Their legacy will live on by helping many lives through this center.
Prerona Pratibandhi NGO has taken a remarkable step toward empowering differently-abled individuals by establishing an Automatic Offset Printing unit. This initiative serves as both a training center and an employment hub, offering individuals hands-on experience with modern printing technologies such as digital printing, desktop publishing (DTP), and advanced offset printing techniques.
The primary objective of this project is to equip participants with marketable skills that enable them to become self-reliant, financially independent, and confident in their abilities. By fostering technical proficiency and nurturing their talents, the program creates opportunities for individuals to contribute meaningfully to society and gain respect and recognition within the workforce.
The offset printing unit also generates sustainable employment opportunities, allowing participants to earn a livelihood in a dignified manner. Additionally, this venture challenges societal misconceptions about disabilities by showcasing the capabilities and potential of differently-abled individuals when provided with the right support and resources.
Through this initiative, Prerona Pratibandhi NGO continues its mission to promote inclusivity and empower marginalized communities, paving the way for a more equitable and compassionate society.
